Dancing Dragon, a film written, directed and shot by Shuying (Grace) Liu, presented by Take Two Media in conjunction with Quicksilver funding and The Mercury Cinema; follows a man’s journey into understanding the importance of community, healing and self forgiveness.
Dancing Dragon gave the opportunity to work with a great team to coordinate the looks for extras, principal characters and to extend skill sets for the good of the film.
The most major challenge was the creation of a fat suit that had the right look for if there was a scene where the character did not have a shirt on, and doing so on a limited budget.
Using foam, adhesive and 3D crafting the custom torso became a passion project to ensure that the torso had the right look for the story, and communicating aspects of the character.

Dancing Dragon also gave the opportunity to lead a team, ensuring that every actor was looked after and that continuity was upheld in scenes with multiple people.
